How to Make a Hard Decision

There is so much love and potential here. All the time. How do we know what is meant to stay and what is meant to move on from us? Relationships, dreams, goals, habits, and even articles of clothing. What do we hang on to and what do we let go of?

"What is meant for you will not pass you by." This brings peace to my heart, and allows me to further trust in myself to believe the way that I feel. There is no wrong way of feeling, it is just what you are experiencing of yourself. There is numerous levels of conditioning that may influence how you feel, but what you're feeling is valid. How do I know when to let things go, and not let them "stick" to me? First, quiet the mind and open the heart. Be still. What is there? Love whatever is. Allow it to be there.

Stop comparing, and just look at it for what it is. What comes to mind when the solution or answer is you putting your needs, wants, or desires first? Nothing is too much. Everything that comes into your life is for you to experience, open to, and let it change you for the better.

There is no wrong choice. With an open heart (read Michael Singer's work, The Untethered Soul) we can do no wrong. Nothing is worth closing over. And don't forget, wherever you are... be all there.

[Note: All of this can be easy to type, and challenging to live. Being faced with difficult decisions where paths diverge can feel heavy. Messing up or "getting it wrong" happens and is only natural. So I try to reframe my thinking and remember that there is no wrong choice. Only lessons. How do we recover, overcome, and shift for the better?]
